How to Draw Eevee – Let's get Started!
Step 1
Eevee is well known for having big pointy ears, so we shall be focusing on that aspect for this first step in our guide on how to draw Eevee.
Eevee's head is quite rounded on the bottom, and you can draw this part with two rounded lines that don't quite meet at the bottom.
The top of Eevee's head will have more jagged lines on it to show furriness, and then you can finish off the head with those characteristic ears we mentioned earlier.
You can draw these ears with some big curved lines that have a sharp tip as shown in the reference image.
Step 2 – Draw the fur under Eevee's head
Eevee has a big bushy collar of fur under its head, so we will draw that part for your Eevee drawing in this step.
The furry collar will be drawn with some sharp jagged lines similar to the ones that went on the top of the head. This furry collar will be especially sharp at the center where it dips down into a sharp point.
That's all there is to it for this step and we're ready to move on!
Step 3 – Now, draw a body for your Eevee drawing
In this step of our guide on how to draw Eevee, we will be drawing some little legs onto your Eevee.
Eevee has short little legs and a body that is smaller than its head, so for the legs you can use some fairly small, curved lines with flat bases for them.
You can add a very small vertical line in each foot to show the toe divide for each one.
Step 4 – Add the facial details and tail of Eevee in this next step
There's a lot to cover in this part of your Eevee drawing, so we shall take it slow for this part! First, we will work on the face for your Eevee.
For the big eyes that Eevee has, you can draw two medium-sized ovals. Each of these ovals will then have a smaller oval inside of it to show the glinting of the eyes.
Eevee's nose is a simple black dot beneath the eyes, as seen in our reference picture.
With the nose drawn, you can then add a mouth for Eevee. The mouth is curved on the sides and is made up of a single line.
Finally, it wouldn't be a proper Eevee drawing without a big bushy tail, so we shall add that next in this step!
The tail is very thick as it starts, but it gets a bit thinner the more it goes on. It then ends in a sharp tip to create a fox-like tail.
Step 5 – Now, you can add the final details of your Eevee drawing
You're almost ready to start coloring in your Eevee drawing, but before you do there are a few final details to add.
First, you can draw some lines inside the ears to make some thin oval shapes. These will form the inner ears for Eevee.
You can use some little jagged lines at the bottom of these oval shapes to make it look furrier.
Finally, you can also add some more jagged line details to the end of the tail as well as the furry collar that you drew earlier.
These little details finish it off nicely, but you should also feel free to add any extra details that you would like! You could draw a fun background to show where Eevee is sitting for one idea.
If you're feeling extra creative, you could draw another of your favorite Pokemon sitting beside this adorable Eevee.
What extra details can you think of to finish off this Eevee drawing before the final step?
Step 6 – Finish off your Eevee drawing with some color
With this final step of our guide on how to draw Eevee, we will be adding some beautiful colors to your image!
As shown in our reference image, Eevee has a fairly muted tan coloring to it. This is in contrast to the colorful Pokemon variations that Eevee is capable of evolving into.
If you want some variation to the colors, you could choose your favorite Eevee evolution type and use the color scheme of that character to color in your Eevee!
Or you could use that color for the background as a hint to how you would evolve this Eevee.
You can also have some fun by choosing which art mediums you would like to use when coloring in. for more muted colors, watercolor paints and colored pencils are a great option.
If you want a brighter and more vibrant look instead, then mediums like paints and colored markers will serve you well!
How will you color in your cute Eevee drawing?
